Does your open invoice report show a different balance than the balance indicated in the actual accounts receivable register? How about the unpaid bills report? This tool identifies and corrects transactions flagged by the QuickBooks verify and rebuild procedures as having invalid open quantities.

If you have received the warning message "Some sales orders or estimates may be incorrectly marked as closed or display incorrect invoiced quantities." or the error "Verify Target: Invalid Open Quantity: Target =" you may have noticed that it also causes the Quickbooks backup procedure to fail if the preference settings indicate that a verify should be run during the backup procedure. Correcting these errors helps to ensure that your backups are actually being made.
